Alta Regional Center

Overview

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a private, non-profit corporation working under contract with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to persons, age three and above, with a developmental disability pursuant to the Lanterman Act.

ACRC also provides services to infants and toddlers, between birth and 36 months, who have a need for early intervention services and who meet the eligibility criteria for the California Early Start program.

Warmline Family Resource Center

Overview

WarmLine is a Family Empowerment Center. As a Family Empowerment Center we provide training and information to families of children and young adults with disabilities between the ages of 3 and 22. We offer specialized training, peer-to-peer support, information and referral services. We aim to assist parents to better understand their child’s educational and developmental needs, develop effective communication with service providers, serve as an active participant in the IEP process,  promote alternative dispute resolution, and to support positive relationships between parents and professionals. WarmLine is funded by the CA Dept. of Education, receives technical assistance and support by Seeds of Partnership and is a member of the Family Empowerment and Disability Council.

Access Leisure

Overview

The mission of Access Leisure is to optimize quality of life and provide enhanced life experience to people with disabilities through accessible recreation programs and services. Programs include a variety of recreational and competitive sports, social and leisure functions, and outdoor educational, and residential and day camping adventures.

Overview

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
